Born out of a desire to see people come to relationship around a table. Specialty Food Services founders first partnered together to open a restaurant in the Houston area in 2007. Over the next five years, their partnership grew to manage seven restaurants, including well-known steak houses, burger shops and american bistros. In 2012, with backgrounds in marketing, business, ministry and restaurant management Specialty Food Services was formed to come along side existing kitchens and develop turn-key solutions to improve menu utilization, job scheduling, marketing, recruitment, inventory and par controls, food cost controls and training. Our unique approach over the past five years has proved to reduce cost while providing a better product.
At Specialty Food Services we believe there is always something to be learned. Routine training isn't an option, its a must. Routine training provides an opportunity for growth, hands-on teaching and live team building in a "no pressure" environment.
We don't all like change, but we all like creative variations on classic items. At Speciality Food Services our team can provide innovated concepts for your current dishes, environment and plate presentation.
Security is not something said very often in the food service industry. However, we have full confidence when the correct methods are applied, not only will you save money, but it won't cost you a penny.

Often, we find these memories carry us threw hard time, birth new ideas, live on is story or simply sit as a reminder of a day when time slowed. This thought of together drives us as specialty food services. We believe that together we can do the impossible. From creating new relationships for aging Senior adults to joining a celebration for the newly married, relationships are fostered around a table. Eric Paquin has 20+ years in the Food and Beverage industry. Eric studied culinary at the University of Houston, abroad in Itally and has worked with the top chefs in Texas. Starting out as bus boy, Eric worked his way to become Regional Director over 12 restaurants in the South Texas Area. Eric has served in Executive levels in many concepts from Italian to Burgers to Steak Houses. Eric has invested in seeing people come together around a table. Now he is spreading that passion to those he leads
Kyle Sapaugh started his first company at 16 years old to support a local women clinic in the South Houston Area. Kyle has 15+ years of innovative business practices, he has owned a marketing company, restaurants, a tech company and a production company. He is a minister, a catalyst, an innovator and a story telling, serial entrepreneur. This spirit combined with his desire to see people build community drove his passion to create Specialty Food Services.
Our team is not just comprised of our staff or new additions to your team, but you.
